I enjoyed the story for the most part. It was simple yet interesting. I'm a bit disappointed because it wasn't as suspenseful as I had hoped it would be, at least not until the end. At that point, the ending just felt rushed. I'm not sure how it could've been helped, though, since for most of the story Kyra isn't sure what to believe/think because of her memory loss and then when she understands what has happened, it had to go down quickly.

Lowkey saw the plot twist coming (since there's like 3 movies like it) but it was still a really interesting read. I kept needing to know what was going to come next and have all my questions answered. The storyline and the characters were all portrayed really well and I loved that it ended with a 'sort of' happy ending.
I was skeptical to read this with some of the reviews. However, this book kept me engaged and in a whirlwind of thought. I never wanted to put it down and could empathize with the main character so well. Never saw the end coming. Great read.
