Much better than the first volume! Also it was way funnier.
I really liked that Kori was portrayed as a super bad ass and hot warrior princess in this volume.
Jason's still bae and Roy is precious
PLEASE CAN IT BE ROCAFORT THE *ONLY* ARTIST??!?!!!!

Entertaining trade, although it's a mismatch of stories. Kenneth Rocafort's art is beautiful as always, but sadly he didn't draw all the issues in this collection.

Not sure how the author took three misfits and made a readable story while Teen Titans was such a mess. Art started very strong but dipped with other artists. Main story worked without having any business doing so. Fun.

This series is as close to perfect as it gets. I still have some problems with the way Starfire is drawn, but otherwise, this whole thing is a home-run. I can't wait to buy the next trade.

I just think modern comics should be significantly less sexist than this one is. I have other critiques of this run, like fat phobia and propagandizing, but the sexism is the most blatant and constant thing and it detracts *immensely* from literally everything. Not that the story is great to begin with! The plot is weak, the pacing is terrible, and the characterization is unconvincing, made worse by the sexism. I just. I am reading this for Jason Todd as, essentially, research into his canon characterizations and relationships. Gritting my teeth and pushing through. Some of the art is genuinely beautiful. Some of the jokes are funny. The comics can be fun. But mostly I read a page and want to scream at the author.

Well, at least this is better than Volume 1!

Suzie Arc - Jason apparently was crime lord in Hong Kong...because reasons. He kills a mod family, a morbidly obese woman comes for revenge. Almost blows up a children hospital to get Jason's attention. This one was fun, if not again with the worst treatment of a female character in Suzie Zu (she's fat because she's EVILL!). Liked seeing the Outlaws actually work as a team. Also kind of feels like just a reason to get Jason in Gotham so he's there during Night of Owls

Night of Owls tie-in -- Outlaws are about to leave Gotham when Alfred gives out a cry for help to stop the Court of Owls from assassinating a bunch of people. Jason reluctantly agrees to help his family. Wish there was more interaction with the batfam (still not really sure of his relationship with them) but another fun story, again seeing them work as a team.

Tamaran storyline -- Finally getting some characterization for Starfire, even if its inconsistent as hell. Goes to help her sister free Tamaran from invasion (even though she's constantly denouncing her home planet and family bc she was literally sold into slavery?). I skipped through most of this, they save the day. Good interactions between the Outlaws (Roy comforting Kori), and Isabel who again, just is there for some reason. Also Superman shows up and they try to portray him like a dick, but honestly he's just tired of their shit lmao
