I DNF'd this one after the first few chapters. It's an interesting concept but I couldn't get into it. Maybe when I have more time to really digest it, I'll go back to it.

Excellent concept, but like most readers I had a really hard time following the disjointed way of writing where it's like 40 short stories, but not quite. The first chapter, however, is great and worthy of at least 4 stars.

I feel compelled to comment on this novel because it is the lowest rating I have given on goodreads.
This work had a lot of potential. I was really excited to read this, especially as part of my politics syllabus. However, I couldn't seem to stay engaged. In short, the writing was very dry for my taste. However, the overall story and concept was fantastic! Unfortunately, the concept is the only thing making me go above 1 star.
