Such a fun book. I listened to this on a road trip, and I probably looked like an idiot grinning the whole drive. It follows Fizzy, a romance author, who agrees to be the lead in a reality dating show, which is produced by a hot Brit, Connor.

I loved this. Normally I find contemporary romances super boring and low stakes, and struggle to get into them. But this one pulled me in right away—I really fell in love with Fizzy. She was hilarious, had no filter, and wasn’t ashamed to say and go after what she wanted. Connor was also a likable romance lead, and I loved watching their love story play out. I think the audiobook really added to the experience as well, both the narrators were fantastic. Highly recommend to any romance fans to listen.

Audiobooked this bad boy. The narrator read in a British accent for Connor’s pov and I could not keep a straight face while listening with camden anytime there was spice. Truly I love Fizzy. She’s written with just enough depth that you relate to her and empathize with her poorer decisions. She was so fun to read and imagine. Also I love reality tv so this was an especially fun listen. I do have a bone to pick with Christina Lauren because she loves the cheater-in-their-past redemption arc and it can ruin a good book for me. This one was not ruined, however it also was not enhanced.
Camden gives this 2.5 stars bc he said he can’t tell if it was good or bad.

DNF@13%: the book is not capturing my attention and I am finding the writing and characterizations objectionable. The book is told from the dual POV of the main characters, so I might be disliking their particular voices, but I do not want to spend any more time in their heads.
