The first half was very wonderful but the ending was very underwhelming. At the end of the day it’s a book for kids I shouldn’t be a whiney baby about wanting higher stakes but boy oh boy every time something goes wrong don’t worry nobody is in danger

What an action-packed journey!! Love the amount of plot that was packed into these 250 pages. Bilbo was actually so lovely, he tackled anything with grace and his character growth was nice to watch. Also hearing all the thoughts and convos between all the creatures was so interesting!!
