Pretty good. I feel like I would've liked it a lot more if I read it 20 years ago and it wasn't hyped up so much. Still, I can see how incredibly influential this has been on so many people's writing, and its nice to see where it comes from.

This book (especially the first 2/3s) were so much fun to read out loud. I guess I still like the more young-reader aspects of it and am still getting my feet wet with the epic fantasy aspects.

But it was absolutely enjoyable to read again as I’m getting ready to read the main trilogy for the first time.
