This was a delightful time. I don't even think comparing the movies to the book is fair because they are so different. Bilbo was hilarious, Thorin was much nicer, and Gandalf felt more like a mysterious wizard. Such a good time.

Listening to the audiobook made this story much more enjoyable, the reader was very good at distincting the characters, which is useful when it comes to the dwarves haha.
Another book that took forever to get through. But one I desperately hope not to read again.
