This was a very enjoyable book. I liked the way the author dealt with some of the transition issues.

The story was fine, Haven not so much.

A good book. Good pace of action. not ground breaking in the genre but good enough that I'll look for the next in the series. kind of wondering how that might take place since the story ended dramatically solving the main conflict.

Very cheesy and predictable

But regardless it was a enjoyable read. But there were several things that did not agree with me... Word limit

Fun and Clever

Well written story with everything. Humor, grief, adventure, smart characters with actual character development, etc. The game in the book is intriguing and well thought out and explained; makes me want to play it. Excited for the next book.

Ok, so the book gets a LOT better the longer it goes. I'm just happy now that I didn't stop reading when I was about to. The MC doesn't do an about face, he ends up doing a deep look into himself and that's what ends up happening. He comes to terms with things and the story gets a LOT better from then on. So overall, this is a book worth getting. It's not really a 4 star. More like 3.5 stars. If you have something else to read, I'd read it first. But if you have some spare time, I'd pick this up. This is a nice rainy day book.
