⭐️ 5/5. Harry Potter book 2 is a little darker than book 1, but not too much. And it still has all the coziness, humor, and characters I love from book 1. Also, this might be a hot take, but I really enjoy the character of Gildaroy Lockheart. He’s just so funny in an “I kind of want to punch him” kind of way. He’s a great addition to the story.

I enjoyed this much more than u thought I would. It made the perfect book to listen to on a road trip, on my daily ride to class, or even while doing household chores. Felt like drinking a warm hot chocolate on a 65 degree day.

I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first one. There seems to be a formula with the last two that it starts off with a bunch of disposition and world-building, goes into a whodunnit / mystery element before all the action is thrown in at the end.

This one had a more interesting mystery element and luckily my memory of the film is bad enough that Ginny and Percy’s reveals were actually interesting, along with them finding the entrance and the sword scene.

I shall have it be known, Tom Riddle is hot and I would have joined him if it were me. ✋🏼😃

But overall, a lot better than the first book even though it was a very similar formula. Had a lot of interesting scenes and good reveals.
