The Chamber of Secrets has always been one of my favorite Potter stories. I love the mystery and the expansion of the lore about the creation of Hogwarts. Amazing characters, scary creatures, reads like a train. And this edition is beautiful! Every drawing is a piece of art.
Two small complaints, I feel like once we're in the chamber, things happen a bit too fast. Also I saw the movie countless times (and the movie is very loyal to the book I'd say in general) and read the book a few times so sometimes it wasn't that exciting since I'd know everything that would happen. But you can't really blame a book for having been read so much hihi

this has always been my least favorite in the series, both book and movie, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s not a fun read. i just think it’s kind of boring and it also introduces what is, in my opinion, one of the biggest plot holes in the series which wouldn’t even be the case if jk rowling could shut her goddamn mouth. i do like how it introduced what is basically the equivalent of texting in like the 1900s.
