ladies and gentlemen, jasper vale has officially claimed the top spot on the hottest book boyfriend chart this week !!!

this book got me in my feels and i realized marriage by accident / convenience might be one of my favorite tropes. every time jasper refers to eloise as "my wife" i went crazy. when he calls her "angel" i went crazy. when he visited her at work just to let her know he's going somewhere and kisses her forehead before leaving I WENT CRAZY. all i can say is i fell in love with jasper at first "eight. count again." that line is iconic the man knows what he's doing!! i also notice that this series has a plot pattern lol at certain percentage i know something dramatic would happen, but overall i loved this book and their a-frame cabin <3

Jasper and Eloise are definitely contenders for my favorite Eden couple! Their banter and genuine respect for one another is so sweet! I thought the book was so well done and I can't wait to read glimpses of them in the last two books. My one issue was the unnecessary weird relationship with the ex. He definitely only needed the parents for the plot line to work.

She was supposed to erase the past. She was supposed to be a beautiful picture over an ugly drawing.

I was afraid that Iโ€™d miss him for the rest of my life.

How many people had told Jasper they loved him? Not enough.

After Fosters fight in Vegas, a very drunk Eloise and Jasper get married. Eloise is worried because she has been working to prove herself to her parents and if they find out she thinks they will take the hotel from her. Jasper and Eloise agree to a quick annulment, but it turns out that is easier said then done.
They end up striking a deal, Jasper needs a date to his ex's wedding and Eloise wants to prove to her parents that she is responsible. So, they would stick it out for a few months and then sign the divorce papers once they get back from the wedding.

I love the Edens series so much. I wasn't sure what to think of Eloise as she was presented in the previous books. She came off as a bit naive, but really she just has such a big heart and wants to see the best in everyone. Her family is so important to her and she struggled to understand why Jasper was so uncomfortable around her family.

I wasn't sure how to feel about Jasper at first. He was so closed off and had a complete inability to communicate with Eloise.  Once he opened up to Eloise and we learned about his story, his behaviour made a lot of sense.
His parents completely sucked. They never showed him any kind of love, so he was pretty much on his own, until he met Sam. Sam and Jasper grew up together and we're each other's first for pretty much everything. She crushed him, then over the years she continued to manipulate him and play mind games. He could never shake her, that was until Eloise came into his life.

There were a few things that I thought were unnecessary in the book - the shooting and Lyla being so mad. I thought the shooting was a little over the top and he could have proven himself in so many other ways. Lyla and Jasper rarely interacted in the other books, so her reaction was overblown.

I really loved them together. Jasper wasn't much of a talker, but he showed his feelings for Eloise in other ways and he was incredibly protective of her. I loved watching them grow together and their relationship develop.

Grumpy x sunshine, marriage of convenience.

This was my favorite Edens book so far! I absolutely adored Jasper and Eloise. The mutual pining! The fake marriage with real feelings! *chefโ€™s kiss* I felt like their relationship grew and developed organically throughout the course of the book. I loved seeing each character open up and be vulnerable with each other. Also, the spice? This one was definitely the spiciest Edens book for sure. I couldnโ€™t put this book down because I was just so excited to see what would happen next with Jasper and Eloise. I definitely recommend this book (and series)!
