I took a long time to finish this book, and I’ve struggle to really pinpoint how I felt about it. It was interesting, and much of it seems plausible and had good suggestions and tips for dealing with narcissists, but I’m having difficulty deciphering how credible some of the information is, and I think I personally would have enjoyed it more had it been written by a scientist or medical professional and a bit more formally. It was very straightforward to read.

An eye opening book that helped me pick my battles and choose a lifestyle far from manipulation and toxic behaviour. Highly recommendable.

I would have liked more studies to have been referenced and further increase the book's credibility as this is a topic that needs to be highlighted in order to help people.

Really enjoyed the first half of the book, then lost interest a bit. Useful for analysing some situations past and present though, and some good thoughts on relationships generally.

I don't have the time to write up a proper review right now so I might do when I'm bored but I have plenty of valid views to share on this load of shit, and apparently more valid views than the author had on narcissism. He was asked numerous times by people to make a book on narcissism so he did, and for research he read a book, an article and one study. The bibliography for this is amazingly bad, he really shouldn't have bothered, it just highlights how little effort went into this. Although, you pick that up well before getting to the end of the book.
