It started off really well but by the end, I was just waiting for it to be over. I found Victoria to be exhausting. Not only with the whole ''oh I hurt my friends'' bit when it was obvious the accident wasn't her fault, but also the way she treats being infertile. She acts like she is the only woman to ever not be able to carry children and like if anyone knows about it she will get treated like a freak. It's the 21st century, no one cares. Especially not in a progressive country. I did like Oliver but meh, it was too insta love-y for me. They barely spent any time together and suddenly they were in love. Nope.

A let's fake my parents out that we are engaged scheme where you know they will eventually fall in love, break up and declare their love for each other by the end. Predictable but it delivers. Enjoyed this book. Definite four stars.

returned book to the library - will likely save for next Christmastime :)

Cute, a little saccharine, and 4.5 for the way she and he talked about the students in the beginning

Meet Me in London is the classic rom-com plot of a pretend relationship becomes too real. But I think what sets this apart is the characters and the depth they have. Seeing the relationship develop from two perspectives who are unwilling to talk about their feelings is very well done in this book. It'll be the perfect Christmas read in 2020.

Meet Me in London by Georgia Toffolo

Well, this book was a surprise!

**spoiler ahead**

This is the type of novel where not much happens in terms of a fake holiday trope romance, yet there's something special about the story that touched my heart. I was all over the male MC like bread and butter. I suppose I read this book at a time I didn't know I needed it! I'm going to leave it at that. This is book one of a series and is excited to continue the journey!

This was cute, but I wasn't attached to the characters. Very Hallmark movie vibes.
