Fast paced, brutal, and mind-bending, a great summer horror.

Is that possible? To live in this world and not scare yourself to death? To feel turbulence and not imagine the plane going down? To experience hope as a grown-up with the same clarity a child feels terror? How do you not call forth the things that will devour you and give them teeth?

I absolutely love Nat Cassidy's writing and will buy and read anything he writes!
This was such a crazy, imaginative story full of gore, grief, and terrorizing action. I thoroughly enjoyed every page, including the afterword.

The story follows Jess after she finds a lost little boy outside her apartment. As she struggles to protect him from his father, she realizes that things can always get worse than you can imagine.

Nothing will prepare you for what is in this book, so go in blind; it'll be worth it.
