Mini-Review:
In S1 of Bookburners, we get a good look into Sal and Menchu. There were sweeping phrases, moments and lots of action that gave a decent outline of others in the team. It's very exciting to read the developments and unveiling of the other characters in S2. S1 set up the stage with a lot of zany fireworks. It was like getting a look into the front lines of a war without ever seeing the start but thrown willy-nilly into the middle of chaos.
I loved the way Gladstone compared the past and present of Shanghai. Creepy hair salute to Asian horror was the bomb. I liked it quite a bit. This segment put Grace and Liam in the spotlight. I can't wait to read more and see how it all stacks up.
