“This throbbing pain in the left side of my chest. The words I couldn't say. The thoughts I couldn't accept. They are piercing and heavy. They're becoming stiff and like lead.”

Somehow I feel both excited and dreadful when it comes to the upcoming finale. I've really enjoyed this series... and I don't want it to end T__T

The best thing to happen in this volume, was seeing Yuyuka finally be honest with herself and accept her feelings for Senpai. I've been waiting for them to get together since he first showed up!! Lolol. I also really liked seeing Suzume being more assertive, and not just staying quiet when it comes to things she wants. It was really refreshing!

This volume was making me very happy, until I got to the last chapter...

SpoilerYosano and Mamura together (this is too good to be true)

Daytime Shooting Star follows Suzume. Suzume is a country girl who moves to Tokyo to live with her uncle. She is obsessed with food and running. She has two love interests Mr. Shishio who is her professor and Mamura a loner quite boy. I'm totally rooting for her to end up with Mamura.

Mr. Shishio desperately wants Suzume, but does he deserve her? I'm glad Mr. Shishio at least respected Suzume's rejection; he is actually good after all. I love seeing assertive Suzume.
