What I Did Like:
-The audiobook is narrated by Milo Ventimiglia, which is cool. He brings a good voice to Daniel and a few other characters.
-The concept behind Daniel X (the series) is really good. That same premise is kept up in this book.

Who Should Read It:
-If you like the idea of an alien being stationed on planet Earth to battle evil aliens, check out The Dangerous Days of Daniel X (the first book). It’s funny, witty, and well written.
-If you’re completely enthralled by the series and need more of these characters after books 1-4, this will certainly give you more of them.

My Rating:
-For me this was 2 stars. The series fell flat for me and this book seemed to be reaching to keep the series alive.

"In the fifth installment of James Patterson's action-packed Daniel X series, Daniel must now face an alien whose origins appear nearer to the depths of Hell than the outer reaches of the galaxy. Number Two is an unstoppable criminal that's slowly been amassing an underground army of disgusting, disgruntled, and dangerous aliens to help him enslave Earth's population. And it's all in preparation for the arrival of Number One, the most powerful alien in the universe and Daniel's arch-nemesis."

Amazing, though possibly a little premature to face Number One already.

Penultimate book in this series is as depressingly bad as the previous entry in a story that is non sensical and dull with no redeeming characters and nothing to really warrant your interest. I will make it to the end of the series, somehow, but gosh Patterson Inc is really stretching my patience here.

I feel with this series that maybe if it had have been a trilogy instead, it would have been better. Instead you just feel as if you're reading the same story but in slightly different locations over and over again.

The fifth book in the Daniel X series. Daniel and his friends take on Number 2, who turns out to be the devil himself. This book is different from the others in the series. Daniel gets help from the FBI and finds a new love interest. The theme of good versus evil is there, but a much more moral take on the story.
