Rooted too much in the Catholic imaginery, even though it was fictional, not Catholic, cult in book.

Dark, compassionate, funny, great world building, very twisty story, good ending that leaves room for more but also wraps things up nicely.
.
Also, for those interested, this story isn't a romance. But rather explores friendship, kindness, and unconditional love.
Makes it a bit of a warm hug in a dark world.

Was debating on whether giving it 5 ⭐️ or not… But after thinking about it, it’s a 5 ⭐️ book for me! The book gets better and better as you keep on reading! Learning about the hierarchy of spirits through the book was so fun! Especially loved the relationship development between Artemisia and the revenant!
