This book's cover is what caught my attention and I thought that the synopsis on the back was funny. After I started reading, I could not put it down. Fitzhugh created characters who are off-kilter but that the reader can also identify with. He is like a funnier version of Elmore Leonard.

This was a funny, witty farce. Full of the gratuitous violence that I hate so much-but made fun of in such a delightful way. Light, funny, fun!!
Characterizations full of imagination. Un-adulterous family (imagine!)Loved it!

Maybe I'll finish Pest Control some day, but after 50 pages I'm not feeling it. Too many insects and not enough laughs.

A bit too much with the technical stuff about bugs. Story itself was entertaining and fun.

an exterminator being mistaken, by several different individuals for an assassin ? Somehow it all works in the book and is a refreshingly different twist
