I’d never even listened to BR before picking up this book. My partner,a fan, purchased the book. I had run out of reading material so picked it up. Not your typical story telling from a band. Good read. PS..I have since checked out their music! It’s good!

The first three quarters of the book are quite interesting. Although, as a fan, you probably already know quite a lot of BR's history, there's still a lot of inside information and interesting tit bits fans will never know (unless a book like this comes along). So that was fun to read.
However, when we get to the later albums, more and more is said about where they toured and less about what happened on the tours that might be interesting, same with the recordings.
All in all a fun read though.

A really solid biographical account of one of the best bands to come out of the punk scene. One of my top favorite bands in general. I've been listening since I was 16, back in 2002, and have kept up with them every step of the way. They helped get me into punk rock and have continued to release fantastic albums that stay relevant no matter how much time passes.
The book is pretty well written, with many stories and accounts right from the band members. It tracks them from their beginnings right up to the present day. It's surprising this is the first book like this in their almost 40 years together. Fans would enjoy reading this book for sure.

Bad Religion has been with me since the mid 90s and since then I listened to every album as soon as I could. I didn't track them closely and I first went to a concert about 5 years ago, but they were always close to my heart. I'm thankful this book has brought me a lot closer to the members of the band, has explained a lot of history and touched on lots of topics. I found it well written and an easy read, and it's helpful to look up locations and listen to their songs while reading. For non-fans it might go too deep into the lives of the musicians, but for fans it enhances the experience immensely.

This is probably the best biography of a punk rock band I’ve read. If you are a fan of Bad Religion or of punk rock in general, this is a must read! It takes you through their entire career.
