Tried to read this one physically and didn’t get far. As an audiobook I friggin loved it.

The plot is a tad slow but there’s so many major twists that it was worth it.

Rose and Dmitri as a couple felt very off in this book.

What happened in this book is not at all what I thought would happen, and I'm a little stunned. It started off so strong, I was absolutely loving the storyline. I was thrilled with where Rose's scheming was leading them - Lissa and Eddie in tow - and I was excited to get the answers that Rose was looking for, answers that could change Dimitri's fate and the beliefs of the Moroi and Dhampirs alike. It started off so exciting and I loved the first half of the book so much. Rose is badass, and as always, doesn't stop until she gets what she wants.

But when she finally gets the one thing she's been fighting for, everything feels like it falls apart to me. First of all, I dislike Lissa alot. I haven't liked her for a while but this book solidified those feelings. I feel like she never puts Rose first, she's selfish and her protectiveness over Dimitri was just kind of gross. I hated it because if the roles were reversed, Rose wouldn't have given anything to make sure Lissa could see the one she loved, not acted as if she knew what was best for either of them.

I also felt my heart breaking for Adrian, because he loves Rose so much and I wish she had never, ever put him in this situation. I know he's going to get hurt and I hate that. What shocked me the most was the relationship between Rose and Dimitri, it is not how I envisioned their reunion, it was painful and unnecessary and I just didn't like it. I feel like this book was so unfair to Rose and I wish she stood up for herself and told her supposed "best friend" and the love of her life where to stick it. The ending really did blow my mind though, I did NOT see that coming at all!!! I hope the last book is better than this one, Rose deserves a good end to her story. PS. I love Abe 👀😂😂

"Love fades. Mines has."😭
Dimitri is lucky Rose is so much better than me. Because if it was me who spent the better part of 5 months risking everything I had in this goddamn world trying to find a way to save his ass and he then not only refused to see me but proceeded to give all the credit to someone else i would set his cell on fire.

Pasan UN MONTON DE COSAS
En la primera mitad hay más accion pero en la segunda de la nada te tiraba un plot twist y sorpresas.
Rose fue INSOPORTABLE en este re castrosa y Adrian no se merecia que lo trate así.
Buen desarrollo igual, bastante epico
