i like the plot of sparrowhawk and aaron traveling around and exploring the world. i really like aaron's personal development of disillusionment with sparrowhawk and then hating him and then loving him like a father. it was really interesting to see him go through all those thoughts and become an adult at the end. my one qualm is with the villian, i dont know if i was supposed to remember him from a previous book or not, or what his conviction was to take away magic. but it was fun! dragons.

Bello.

This story was also good, but I think I cant keep giving 5 stars, as it is not a mindblowing story. It is just very well written and paced. Time moves naturally even with the timeskips.

I love this series - Le Guin is so intentional. Earthsea is a crystal clear mirror of our world, exposing all of humanity's weaknesses and beauty and hopes. The Earthsea books are simple and yet so rich and wonderful
