It was meh. Serious pet peeve though, when the inside of the book constantly talks about how she has matched 42 couples and the blurb says 52. I hate obvious errors.

Elin Hildebrand is one of my favorite authors- she has a way with words that get you from the very first page. This is the book I finished most recently and really enjoyed it.

I usually enjoy Elon Hilderbrand's books, and I enjoyed this one. However, I really struggled with how Dabney manages her failing health...whether it was true naïveté or possibly significant denial, I didn't buy into how this part of it was written...it was a little too hokey for me. That being said, I did like the characters and I was in tears when she passed away. Without this one aspect that I struggled with, I would've given the book a 4.

Cute summer read about Nantucket. Surprising end.

The last 50 pages of the book had me ugly sobbing the entire time. I didn’t realize it was going to focus on cancer and death so much.
Otherwise it was filled with the usual Nantucket easy breezy love triangle storyline. I think it was beautiful how everyone came together in the end for Dabney. Another great book from Elin.
