I thought this book was slow at first but then I started truly enjoying it. I loved the bantering between Caelum and Estrella. This kinda gave me From Blood and Ash vibes but with Faes, etc. It also left me with a cliffhanger which I will have to get onto the next one here pretty soon.

Not into the romance in this book which is saying quite a bit because I really enjoy fantasy romance. Found this to be cringey, hated the nickname the MMC gave the FMC. Veryyyy predictable in my opinion. Just not for me!
