Well, once again, I couldn't stay away. The love/hate relationship continues! I actually enjoyed this one- it didn't annoy me as much and seemed to have a bit more substance to it. Not as much as any normal novel would (and should!) contain, but enough to keep me from wanting to pull my own hair out. Maybe it was the addition of the werewolves, or the two plot lines she had going on at once- but whatever the reason, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I hope the next continues in this vein.
I have loved this series, but this was by far, the weakest book in the series. There just wasn't much there-I think I read the whole thing in about an hour and a half. Very little suspense, very little interaction between Betsy and Sinclair. If this had been the first book, I wouldn't have continued the series.
I remember really liking the first 3 or 4 books in this series, but this was pretty terrible. Betsy is so one-dimensional and self-centered that I really wanted the werewolves to just eat her and her friends
