Read all of Kayla Miller's books - each deals with a different interpersonal or personal conflict, and kids really connect with these characters.
Kayla you did it again! Thanks for writing graphic novels that keep kids engaged and running back to read the next one. It's so fun to see a series about kids in real life situations dealing with friendship woes and family struggles. I cannot say enough good things about this book.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this arc in exchange for my review.

This novel makes me miss or want to go to a summer camp filled with amazing nature and creative outdoor and artsy activities. It wasn't a thing where things grew up, so I love reading about it. Love these characters and Click series. Olive is amazing, and I relate to her in many ways. This time she is juggling friendships, two friends get mad at each other and she doesn't want to pick sides, or be in a bad mood, she wants to create a garden and combine all ideas into one fun activity so everyone can enjoy their time together. Even with new friends. I like how she helps everyone.

Book 7 in the Click MG graphic novel series by @kayke
⚡️
Olive is back at Camp Acorn for what she hopes is the best summer ever! Max and Bree, Olive’s camp besties, start fighting almost immediately, sticking Olive squarely in the middle. Willow is busy with her active schedule so Olive is left behind with unhappy first-time camper, Nat. As Olive works to improve the camp, she tries to avoid being pulled into the drama surrounding her, but finds herself stuck.
🏕️
I will never not read graphic novels in this series when they’re out. I can’t keep them on the shelves so I always have to read the ARC so I can enjoy them before they fly out of the library! That’s what’s going to happen with this book that releases May 6!
CW: sprained ankle
They portray kids in middle school, but write them as 3rd graders. I wish some of it would be written for the age they’re supposed to be.

Although this is the eighth book in the Click series of stories about Olive and her friends, you don’t need to have read the other books to get into this story about summer camp, and what happens when friends fight, and then don’t want to make up.
And Olive is stuck in the middle. Thus the name of this story.
And no matter what Olive does, she can’t get her friends to stop fighting. The other problem is that one of her friends from school, Nat, has been sent to summer camp against her will. She doesn’t want to be there, and hates not being home, so have a bad attitude to begin with.
Like with all middle grade stories, friendships are a big part of the story, and in this case, Olive has to juggle all her friends to try to have a good time.
Cute story of friends finding that they really do want to have a good time, if they can just get over their hurt.
What I like about the Olive books, is that she is a bit of chameleon, and makes friends with the drama kids, as well as the science and art kids. In one of the earlier books, they ask her to pick, and she can’t.
For those who have been following the series, it is a good addition. For those who have never read these books, this would be a good one to pick up, because you don’t have to know who the people are to get the gist of the story.
Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review. This book is coming out the 6th of May 2025.

Another great graphic novel for the Click series! Olive and her friends are back at camp with Nat joining them but so grumpy about it. Olive tries to be helpful but when her friends Max and Bree start fighting, it threatens to ruin her summer too.
The camp director announces a former camper wants to donate to a project and while other campers think about comfort items, Olive thinks about creating a garden and begins doing small things to help creatures and campers as she gets ready to present her idea.
The graphics are just what you expect from this series and the book moves quickly. Another one I won’t be able to keep on the shelves!
