This was a 4star book but it ended abruptly. There needed to be follow through with something the female lead and her daughter started. (Don’t want to spoil it) and closer with the dating program too. Otherwise it was a cute enemies to lovers story and I felt it was just getting good when it ended.

I really enjoyed the banter that is going on between the two characters. Making it like they are competitors, which they are a little bit, but deep down they both enjoy each others company.

It was such a unique storyline and I laughed so many times while reading it in one sitting. Both characters were so funny and Vivian’s daughter Tegan was such a vibe. I really enjoyed the single mom aspect and that Lucas started to care so much about Tegan. He really cared about both of them and wanted to help out where he could.

Also the bet they took was so funny and I just knew from the start that they would end up on a date together. But it was so funny to read the other dates, I was just a bit confused about the fact that we got more of the dating parts from Lucas than from Vivian. But the bits that were included were so hilarious. The witch, the world is flat, the influencer, this was really the best.

The ending was surprising, I didn’t expect it to be such a bumpy ride, but it was such a fun read and I'm glad how it finished. I was just a bit sad that we didn’t get any family outings after they got together. I would’ve loved another chapter with Tegan, Vivian & Lucas together as a family.
