This is a book that you won't relate to the characters. I found them incredibly annoying actually. As much as I wanted to like this book, it let me down. The ending didn't really make up for it but it was decent.

I felt very 3.5 stars about this. I think the execution of the storyline was perfect. I had a hard time getting into the characters as much as I usually can with Colasanti's stuff though. I think it's super easy to recommend this to teens though, especially if they like a love story that hasn't been done a million times.

I really wanted to like this book more. But I didn't.
In my opinion Ethan was a jerk from the bginning. Sterling was an idiot defending him to everyone. I felt bad for Gabe. The "melting. In. My -insert place here- things was so annoying. The ending made the book better so it got a four star rating.

I found this book at the thrift store and got it because I’ve read a book by her before when I was younger. Ah we’re so dramatic about love when we’re young. I miss that. Cheating though, breaks my heart. I feel pretty stupid for not seeing it coming but like I really thought this wasn’t that kind of story. It’s a little YA for crying out loud. Other than that bomb, this story was a little boring until the drama of him becoming awful kicked in. I was just trying to race through it until I actually got into it. The typo obsession really made me hate the main character though... sorry. But other than that I feel like she was genuine and didn’t deserve that hurt. I mean he was cheating on her when her grandmother just died? What a douchebag. My heart really hurts for Sterling. Truly hurt. I wish she would have just ended up with Damien. I’m impatient and I hate it when they make me wait.

I thought this was going to be a cute, fun romance about a girl whose boyfriend becomes a rockstar but instead I just got annoying characters being annoying. And I kept reading hoping it’d get better but it just got worse.

Sterling had nothing going on for her outside of Ethan. When she did come up with something he thought it was stupid and then she took forever to revisit the idea again. She was also being kind of a bad friend, her friend tried so many times to talk to her and she would just be like I don’t get why she’s mad at me. Also her grammar and spell checking was top tier annoying.

And Ethan, he started out kind of sweet but I quickly knew he was going to get a big head with this superstardom. I mean he’s in a band but he makes his first album solo…I was like okay kind of shady but then he wanted to make the next one with the band and take them on tour so I was like alright maybe there’s some hope for him. But no, he doesn’t get why the other guys would be mad riding his coattails…idk maybe because you guys were a band and now they just want the band to be your name. The one guy had a point, no one would probably notice if they were replaced because it wasn’t about the band, they were just a part of the Ethan Cross experience. And I seriously doubt he ever called his friends that kept asking Sterling how he was doing. Ethan Cross honestly was the worse.

The only thing I liked about this book was Sterling’s relationship with her Gram.

I was seriously disappointed in this book, even though going into it after dnf'ing it in September I didn't really have big expectations for it. If I didn't need to finish a book I DNF'd for my March tbr jar challenge, I would've WDNF'd it again. It just lacked a lot. It was predictable and really cheesy and the writing really got to me at times. This main character 'melts into floor. melts into chair. melts against wall.' By the end I was glad it was over, it was a predictable ending as well, I called it 150 pages in. Although Ethan cheated on Sterling and she was upset about it as one would be when one cheats on you, I felt like she was in the wrong too by talking to Damien like she did. I don't know why, because technically it wasn't considered cheating but I just felt like she was in the wrong with Damien too. I felt like I was reading a Justin Bieber fanfic if I'm honest. It took Sterling the whole book to realize how Ethan had changed and how she deserved to live her life for her and not just worry about Ethan 24/7. Overall my feelings towards Susane's writing has changed, this is the second book by her where I wasn't really a fan; despite my having nearly ten of her novels. All I Need and Now and Forever have made me wonder what I liked about the other books I've read by her. Overall, I give it a 2 star rating. A book talk or review will be on my channel eventually.

So much better than All I Need. I thought that Colasanti'd reached her end with that boook, and so i was skeptical, but I clearly loved this one.

As much as I wanted Sterling to kiss Damien and for them to run of into the sunset together, I probably wouldn't have like the book as much if they had. I respect Sterling's decision to lover herself before she loves somebody else. All in all, a five star book!

Now and Forever tells a story about Sterling and her boyfriend Ethan who's on the road to becoming a rock star. Sterling is a supportive girlfriend and she does everything she can to help Ethan reach his goals. Ethan seems like the perfect boyfriend sweet, charming, talented and totally in love with Sterling. As Ethan gets more and more famous his relationship with Sterling starts to change, leaving Sterling wondering whether or not her relationship with Ethan is worth it.

For the most part I enjoyed this book. Sterling is a typical teenager going through her first love and trying to figure out what she wants. When Ethan makes it big her life starts to revolve around him. At first all the fame and success is a big thrill for both Ethan and Sterling, but then the shine starts to wear off. Ehtan's fans start to insult Sterling and Ehtan has less and less time for her. It becomes pretty obvious in the middle of the book that Ethan doesn't seem so perfect any more and Sterling needs to figure out what to do about it.

I liked that Sterling eventually realizes that Ethan isn't the only important one in their relationship and that she deserves more. There is definitely some character growth, but I feel like Sterling is the only one who get any development. No one else in the book seems to go through any changes.

One thing I really loved about this book was the ending. I think Sterling made the right choice and it was nice to see a girl not letting her relationship define her.

All of Colasanti's books are cute and interesting, and this was no exception. None of her books have been amazing to me, but she's a really good writer and I always fly through her books. I'm looking forward to reading more of her other books.
