I loved the writing style, I wish there was just a tiny touch more plot because I wanted it to be longer TBH. A lot of the British terms went over my head and British politics I kept googling stuff. I’m sure it would’ve been more impactful if I was more knowledgable about British culture
my favorite quote was “in the ostensible privacy of my own thoughts I feel (still) compelled to restrict what I say”
I also liked the poems at the beginning, gave it a fresh start

Imaginemos que alguém decide fazer um cozinhado. Uma cataplana de marisco, por exemplo. Short but powerful. I love how the form, the little vignettes, painted a full picture and gave the prose so much texture and tension.
