So I have to admit, it's been a long time since I have heard the Sesame Street theme song. So it didn't flow off my tongue as readily as I liked. But what did I love: ALL of the different illustrators who brought their unique stamp to the project. Christian Robinson, Tom Lichtenheld, Dan Santat, Greg Pizzoli.....the list goes on and on.
It definitely is an excellent tool to show that Sesame Street crossed ages, genders, and demographics

Each spread, illustrated by different artists, brings the theme song to life.

obviously not containing much textual substance if you are already previously familiar with the sesame street theme song lyrics. however, the art and the book design is BEAUTIFUL. even the book cover and hardback. great variation and broad span of many different and lovely art styles. some modern, some classic and all beautiful. stunning! plus bert and ernie hugging each other always puts a smile on my face.

A wonderful addition to story time--and challenge to sing the lyrics rather than just speak the words! Will use this to point out and highlight various illustrators and draw attention to visual art in picture books.

Each illustration is done by a different artist. All their bios are in the back.
