Rather than this being a cute follow-up, I feel like this was more of an offshoot from the Nina Hills series. It touched on a ton of different characters, and rather than be cohesive to a different chapter within the series it just felt scattered.
That being said, I do love the two MCS, Laura and Bob. I definitely get some major neurodivergent vibes from both of them, even though nothing is directly stated. I wish their characters were explored more so we can see how they grow through their own challenges.

Graphic: Mental illness
Moderate: Toxic relationship, Car accident
Libby audio. Not as good as Nina Hill, though Nina is featured in this one. Laura has PTSD from a driving accident and has issues with her family. Finds her backbone and love.

I loved Laura and Bob as much as I love Nina and Tom. I love that she had things to deal with and the growth of every one who lived in the house. However, I did not love how her ex just showed up and that her mom is who led him to believe he was wanted. Such a cute and quick read to get through a slump.
10/10 would recommend.

The book overall was fine. I’m bored of the girl who watches sports cliche. There were also way too many character.

This was good but was a slow read for me. Honestly a lot of characters got introduced and I had a hard time keeping track of all them. Was rooting for Bob & Laura though.
