Did you ever just jump into an audiobook blindly, without reading the blurb or checking any details?
Yeah… I made that mistake. A _grave_ one.
This book was a journey, dark, mysterious, and unfortunately for me (and totally my fault) triggering.
The author created such an eerie, captivating environment that I pushed myself to keep listening because I had to know how it ended. Well, I made it to the end... and now I have no idea what to do with myself.
The ending? It absolutely destroyed me. It finished at such a critical point, and I’m stuck feeling angry, sad, and completely in denial. But I have to admit the author nailed it. It was gut-wrenching in the best way.
The characters’ flaws felt so painfully real, I wanted to throw something. At one point, I was ready to just quit the whole book out of frustration.
Also, this was the longest audiobook I’ve ever listened to. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but some parts dragged for me, and I did zone out here and there.
But even though I’m heartbroken and a little shell-shocked right now... I know this book was worth it. I highly recommend it.

This book is a lot of things. Tragedy, drama, romance , dark, adventure, mystery, thriller. It’s not one you read for the spice , it has spice, but it’s slowwwwww burn and it has so much story between any spice. Unpredictable what happens next. It’s so long. No just or audible took forever to read

🎧 4/5. Thriller/romance is not usually my go to but I picked this up on whim and I am so glad I did. The audiobook narrators were amazing and I couldn’t stop listening.
