They say never fall in love with a Foxx man…

Then you gotta stop writing them like this Victoria i stg i love the entire Foxx family.

I want to be Faye Calloway when i grow up, she’s so fucking badass, so strong, a caretaker and undeniably sexy.
There’s something so incredible when a man knows and thrives watching his woman be herself, be sexy and unapologetic as he knows it’s his bed she’ll be in that night. I am absolutely in love with the world of Fiasco Kentucky that Victoria Wilder has built.

this was so unexpected… again. Victorias writing is such a joy to read - the suspense and unfolding of secrets throughout the story keeps you hooked the entire way.

It got a lil slow around 70% but the last 20% was so intense, i sobbed.

Cannot wait to get into Ace and Harley’s story and book 3

“Look at me.” I do as he asks. “You make me feel like I don’t need to pretend when I’m around you. That I can be exactly who I am without being anything other than a man infatuated with a beautiful woman.”

“If you’re smart, you’ll fall in love as many times as the world will allow”

“started falling in love with Faye Calloway on the edge of a cornfield, on a stage, over a bottle of bourbon, and every time she’s been in my arms since.”

“You don’t want a nice girl right now, Foxx.” “What do I want, then, hmm?” A small moan crawls up her throat as she says, “You want someone to tell you to be a good boy and do what you’re told.”

Wow wow wow, book two was hot hot hot! Bourbon and Secrets follows middle brother, Lincoln Foxx. Lincoln has always lived in Fiasco, Kentucky and worked at Foxx Bourbon. He loves everything about Foxx Bourbon and has never wanted to do anything different. Five years ago, Lincoln found Faye outside covered in blood. She blackmailed him and he forced her to leave town and never look back. That same night, Lincoln found his wife, dead in the house from a brain aneurysm. The Foxx curse lives on. Today, Faye has kept away from Fiasco for as long as she can. She’s back in town under the guise of being a burlesque dancer for Midnight Proof (the local bar) but she’s helping the FBI investigate one scumbag as a private investigator. Lincoln is a single dad to two little girls and he doesn’t plan on adding anyone to his family of three. That is until he starts to get to know Faye more. Faye and Lincoln can’t seem to keep away from each other and let me tell you, this book is hot hot hot. As secrets start to get exposed, Faye and Lincoln get closer to each other but they are put through tests. Overall this book was even better than the first one. I was reading it so fast so I could know what happened but I wanted to book to last a lifetime. I am obsessed with Lincoln and Faye. Lily and Lark, the daughters, honestly stole the show throughout as well. They were beyond adorable and Lincoln was the absolute best dad. This series continues to get better and better and I can’t wait for the next book.
