I have always been a whiskey/bourbon girl. I volunteer as tribute if Lincoln Foxx ever has any tastings. Having read and loved the first book in the Bourbon Boys Series I was looking forward to getting to know Lincoln and his role in the family distillery. He is in charge of the production and the science behind the best bourbon. A widowed father of two girls Lily and Lark who are just so full of life. They have him wrapped around their fingers (Kit and Dottie IYKYK). Faye Calloway is a private investigator that is tasked with helping the FBI in Fiasco, Kentucky gather evidence. They had a brief and crazy encounter five years earlier that basically put both of them in an uncomfortable and different situation. The story picks up where Faye is back in Fiasco looking into a suspect. After having lost her mom a couple of years back she is looking to build a better relationship with her sister Maggie that was lost throughout the years. You can just see how they both love eachother but are so hurt.The family dynamic between Foxx’s and the Calloways is special. Griz is the Foxx boys grandpa and has taken care of them since their parents passed away. But he also treats Maggie like she was one of his own. Faye comes into town hired by Hadley, Lincoln's best friend. She is working at her bar Midnight Proof as a burlesque dancer. One visit to Midnight Proof solidifies what Lincoln has been feeling for Faye. Lust or was it something more? Reading how the relationship develops has you swooning for Lincoln. He says all the right things and has a way with words. But the family dynamic between everyone in Bourbon Secrets is such a key element and was what made me just love every single character. Romance, the spicy scenes are chefs kiss and are just wow. Victoria Wilder knocked it out of the park for me with this story and was perfectly written. The Foxx Family continues to amaze me and I can not wait for Daddy Ace’s story.

I want to thank the author for the opportunity to read book 2 in this amazing series!

This book follows Lincoln and Faye. They have a troubled past that started on a rough night for both of them where one blackmails the other, and they become enemies. Years later Faye comes back for a job and to help her sister.

This story has suspense, heartbreak, secrets and bourbon and one sexy Foxx brother! I loved this story! It made me swoon, laugh and frantically turning the pages to see what happens next!
