Omg this book was crazy! I had a hard time getting into it at first bc I wasn’t rly in the mood for historical fiction but once I got into it I was hooked. So many lessons to learn in this book and CRAZY plot twists. For sure recommend

At first, I felt like it jumped back and forth too much. However, once the story got started, it flowed a lot better. I enjoyed the story and was in suspense until the twist at the end. Never guessed it!

It was really slow at first, I had to literally push through it. But about halfway through it got interesting. I liked the connection and while I had some theories about the ending, I was still shocked, it did surprise me. I ended up like it only because of the twist. It could have been slightly shorter but I liked it.

I loved this book. I really enjoy Kate Morton and this is my favorite of hers.

It flips between modern day and the past (mystery that is being unraveled). I was surprised by the ending and loved the characters. The main character Laurel was a bit dull at times but the past characters were all great.

So painfully slow and drawn out. I guessed the twists early on and was just anxious the whole time to get it over with.
