Nice conclusion and continues to be a humorous read with great messaging. It was a little slow in the middle but I have really enjoyed this series and highly recommend it for young readers that have a sense of adventure. I promise you will all laugh together at the feechie folk antics.

I honestly don't even think reading this in order would have saved it.

This is the exciting conclusion to The Wilderking Trilogy. The tension and action reach their peak in this book. It also has a few surprises in store. We did this as a family read-aloud and had a lot of fun with this series.

Not as good as the first two novels.

First: I highly recommend the audio version read by the author. It makes the story.

I love the way this book ties everything together. There is beautiful Truth interwoven through the entire series. We laughed out loud, and repeated parts to laugh again. We (mostly me, less my kids) cried, got goosebumps, and felt victorious with “our” feechie and civilizer friends alike. This entire series definitely makes it on our list of favorite family read alouds.

Loved the Wilderking trilogy by Jonathan Rogers. Although written for 10- to 14-year-olds, they should be enjoyed by all. It's a modern retelling of David's life and it's wonderfully and imaginatively written. One day I will read these to my boys!

We love, love these books. Jonathan Rogers brings together his own beautiful blend of Mark Twain, C.S. Lewis, Uncle Remus, and the Bible and sets it down amid the pines and swamps, mosquitoes and moss of the Deep South. We read the first book aloud and the next two with a mix of the book and the audio version. Rogers’ narration takes me home. I’m pretty sure I’m a feechie... well, my dad was, I bet! ❤️❤️❤️
