Fables is as badass as always and such a tease! I can't wait to find out what happens!! Hopefully I won't have to wait over another year to find out (I skipped over that crossover crap).

What can I say? Fables and The Walking Dead are my two favorite stories.

This is a pretty good volume. I especially liked that Bufkin, the mild mannered flying monkey was the hero for a change.

This was also a really good collection - I seriously think that this series goes from strength to strength as it develops.

I love some Fable politicking! Ozma's stepping up amidst the crisis of the Dark Man, one of my all time favorite Fable villains. Bufkin finally has to stand up to the problems in the office, and as always our Fables writers give us priceless moments with satire and smarts. I love these books... love!

You could argue that Fables has two main characters: Snow White and Bigby Wolf. But the great thing about the series is that all the other characters get explored and developed. In this volume we get to meet a few more of the witches from the 13th floor, and we get to see what Bufkin is really made of. And it's pretty awesome.

Getting back on track after the Crossover debacle. Seriously, the characters actually agreed to pretend the whole plot line from the crossover never happened. An utter waste of everyone's time that one was. Anyway, this has a great bit for Bufkin and some more sorcery machinations. I'm still waiting for Rosé Red to get it together though.
