Apparently all Allison Saft books are five star books for me. This book was absolutely beautiful.

Contains: s*x, m*sterbation-- both of which are not written in extensive detail. Lower spice spectrum but not closed door

somehow Allison Saft has written something I love even more than I love DCTN. A Far Wilder Magic is earthy and raw, gunpowder and sulfur, filled with decaying imagery, alchemical magic, and characters you'll fall for instantly. Margaret and Wes are both spectacular in their own right, together and separate.

I wholeheartedly love this book so so much.

I love a good atmospheric magical setting so this book was great for me. The vibes reminded me of A Study in Drowning by Ava Reid which is probably why I enjoyed reading it.
