This was a book I couldn't put down. I looked for reasons to read a few more pages. I downloaded it to my phone so I could have it with me everywhere. Talk about intrigue. Conspiracy theories don't really float my boat and I'm not one to enjoy secret military death squads...but I liked this one. Ooops, did I give something away?

Excellent read. Full of conspiracy theories, mystery, thriller, adventure, and a lot of unknowns. Unpredictable. Great twist at the end. Not all old white men in power win.

Another wonderful thrill ride from Phillip Margolin. His research is impeccable leaving his storylines plausible and exciting.

Overall, an interesting book and I liked the ending. Parts of the book were repetitive and some chapters dragged on when it didn't impact the storyline at all.

I wasn't in love with the characters and the story line was a bit cheesy at times.

This book offers a bit of everything -- part adventure story, part spy story, part crime story, part courtroom drama. It's quite readable, and a bit of a page turner, but has too many plot holes and editing flaws to get more than 3 stars.

The author seems to lose track of his characters, and forgets what they know or don't know, and where they've been or haven't been. An editor or proofreader should have picked this sort of thing up, and surely a publisher as big as HarperCollins should be able to employ a few of those.
