Royal Elite serisinin 5. kitabı (0'ı sayarsak 6. kitabı) Vicious Prince ekibin arkadaş canlısı, enerjik, sürekli gülümseyen ve espriler yapan karakteri Ronan Astor ile Elsa'nın hissiz, sessiz, insan ilişkileri yönünden tuhaf üvey kız kardeşi Teal ile ilgiliydi.

Kitabı hem tahmin ettiğimden çok sevdim hem de hayal kırıklığına uğradım. Yazar karakterlerin kişiliklerini tamamen değiştirmişti. Ronan iyi çocuk olup ana karakter olamazmış gibi... Zaten bu sert, kötü, sarsılmış çocuk hikayesini Levi, Aidan ve Xander'da okumuştuk. Cole'de de âlâsını okuyacağız. Hele bu kitapta Cole'ün tam bir psikopat olduğuna emin oldum. Bu yüzden Ronan'ın hikayesinin böyle olmasını istemezdim.

Teal sevdiğim bir karakter değildi ve kurguya ya da Elsa'nın ailesine mi diyeyim dahil oluş şekilleri serinin en saçma noktası. Bu seride ilk kitaptan itibaren -yazarın uyardığı gibi- sağlıklı ilişkiler hiç beklemedim. Yine de çok rahatsız edici noktalar vardı.

Teal'ın çocukken uğradığı tacizle başa çıkmak için yine çocuk yaşta yaşından kat be kat büyük adamlarla isteyerek ilişkiye girip durması (neyse ki bundan sadece bahsedildi; detaylı anlatılmadı), sert ilişki feşistinin olması ve işe bakın ki Ronan'ın da bu dürtüsünü bastıran bir tip olması gibi

Sevmediğim yönlerinden bahsetsem de dediğim gibi tahmin ettiğimden daha fazla sevdim; işte keşke yazar en azından aralarındaki ilişkiyi farklı tasarlayabilseydi. Okurken sıkılmadım. Çok akıcıydı. Hepsinin bir şekilde çocukluktan bağlantılarının olması ayrıntısı ise iyi bir detaydı.

Vee sonunda sırada ilk kitaptan beri beklediğim Cole ve Silver'ın hikayesi var. Ruthless Empire için inanılmaz heyecanlıyım.

Oh boy. I knew Ronan and Teal were gonna be fun to watch together and let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. Its just the fact that they both went through something that was the same thing and were able to really just help each other forget was just everything. Sweet baby Ro and Teal broke my heart, but I’m so happy that got thier happy ending. People don’t lie when they say watch out for the quiet ones. They both also really took me by surprise and I was loving the whole ride. The only reason it got 4 stars was because of one of the triggers. Its one I can read, but one I’m just not a fan of. I still loved this story and the growth these 2 went through and I love them both so much.
