Oh so very sweet and surprisingly sexy, as this starts with how Ben and Felix meet cute at the age of 4 and are basically inseparable from then on. Through thick and thin, they stick together and make serious promises they’re determined to keep.

Definitely a friends to lovers progression, showing these two growing up and still remaining the most important part of each other’s lives. Ben never fails to be the support Felix needs through the lonely, tough times he endures, and Felix gives and shares those special, vulnerable parts of himself only Ben is privy to.

Overall, touchingly intimate and a real joy to read.

I LOVED this! I laughed out loud at the beginning and had tears in my eyes more often than I would like to admit!

This felt more like a draft to me, than a real story. It felt a bit awkward.

This was cute. I really loved Ben and Felix, but I was not crazy about the writing style. It would have been easier to follow if the narrator started older and flashed back to his younger self.

Another free story about friends becoming lovers.

It was fine. But I'm afraif that's it. Two friends become lovers, even though they have very different backrounds. But Twist! reunites all of us in a way.

My main niggle was the complete lack of any arc of suspense. There wasn't really a highlight, or a real conflict, or even a little blip on my radar to make me really feel for these guys. Thus, I never really got into it, and I wasn't invested. So, it was okay - nothing more, nothing less. But if you're looking for a nice, easy NA friends-to-lovers story, you should pick this up.

pretty ok.

nicely done, very YA erotic short. no dramatic arc, no real tension or conflict, but a lovely, episodic build-up to a solid 10 pages of youthful fumbling.

not bad, if that's your cuppa.

More like 3.5 stars.
I liked that the story covers more than ten years and it felt natural and right. Surprising for only 30 page long of a story.
Sweet and lovely.
