While I found this book incredibly charming and interesting, it was far too slow and lacking in actual adventure for me.

I loved the beginning, got annoyed with the silly middle, and almost likes the ending. Inventive. Lots of good characters. But sort of immature in some spots.

[Boy raised by wolves can sort of control the weather. His girlfriend lives with his Pack for a while, his foster family, he stops a hurricane, etc]

My favorite thing about this book is the narration. It is narrated nearly fully buy characters who have interacted with the main character of the story. And so goes a fantastic sorry a boy and then a man, who may be just a touch gifted when it comes to nature.

cute, quick read — felt like sometimes it got lost in introducing and reintroducing characters, and there were so many parts and time shifts that it felt like you didn’t get much time with any of them. but still, highly lovable characters and a sweet story. cozy!

The ultimate slow burn. In the first few chapters I wasn't sure I wanted to invest my time, but by the end I never wanted to leave the lives of Weylyn Grey and Mary Penlore. Beautiful.

I felt this read more as YA, but overall it was enjoyable.

This read like a collection of short stories, which is not my favorite, but it was a nice story.

What an excellent, heartwarming story. I wish it were part of series. I can’t recommend this book enough!
