This one is hard to rate as it was essentially the second part of a two part story. The charachters are great, Shanes storyline in this one is kind of heartwrenching. Myrnin is amazing as always and suprisingly Oliver gets some good guy points in this book, not many, but he can have a few. I really liked how this book ended too. I would reccomend this whole series so far.

Oh wow...I'm wondering when these books transformed from the books that made me laugh out loud on nearly every page to the books that seem to enjoy making me bawl like a baby. Nevertheless, I do love them so.

Intense. This is the most intense book of this series yet. I thought I might lose interest. I thought there couldn't possibly be more surprises
But THERE ARE!! People are NOT who I thought they were. And not everyone makes it out of this one. The series is still holding strong. I can't wait for the next one!

Opening line: Morganville, Texas, isn't like other towns.
Closing line: Because now there was no going back.
The last few books in the Morganville series have just been getting better and better. Black Dawn picks up where Last Breath leaves off and it is yet again action packed! I thought Black Dawn was brill, gripping and had me constantly questioning what was going to happen.
I like how we are again shown the story thorugh several view points, it's always exciting to learn new things about the characters we have come to love throughout this series. All is forgiven with Shane and he has yet again moved to the top of my lsit of favourite men! He really shines in this book for me, a real hero! I love him!!
Black Dawn also see some old faces return whichis always exciting. And we may just finally hear wedding bells for Michael and Eve. I hope things do actually work out for these two, they have been through enough as have Claire and Shane!
Now I am hoping Morganville changes for the better because I would like to think that the vamps actually realise what Claire and her human friend have done for them. Her and Shane have done more than enough. I hope with the Draug gone that the rebuild of Morganville won't be as bad as Oliver has us believeing at the end of Black Dawn.
Overall another exciting roller coaster ride in the crazy town that is morganville!
