#futurestate - Superman of Metropolis (come se esistesse un Superman di Bursto Arsizio). La verità è che vi parlerei anche di questo titolo se solo mi ricordassi qualcosa di quello che ho letto soltanto ieri sera. Sciocchezze a parte, il figlio next gen di Metropolis è il protagonista di questa testata e non sembra brillare per acume. Jon sembra quasi in balia degli eventi, sconclusionato. Bah, similmente all'Azzurrone di Bendis, tanti bei disegni un po' sprecati. Anche questo come The Next Batman è un titolo extra size, con due storie in appendice: una carina di Mister Miracle e l'altra palesemente filler di cui non ricordo neanche il titolo.

I really really hate the cover of this issue. Also, similar to the first one, Jon's personality didn't really come across at all here. As a result, this just says Jon's weakness is fear. Not exactly original.
Also, Kara's personality and dialogue didn't quite fit what I've read in previous books.

This wraps up this storyline with minimal criticism for Jon, which doesn't really make sense? I get that he apologized, but it appears he's still new at this job and this was a really big mistake. I don't get everyone just forgiving him?tarmstrong112's review against another edition

I love the character of Jon Kent and so I liked those stories. There is a lot of filler stories in this book that really didn't have anything to do with Superman and they really weren't that good. The Lex Luthor story was also really fun. However 2 good stories are not enough to save this volume from being mediocre.

Enjoyable start! Jon as Superman is interesting to see. I like that this seems to touch on his half human biology making him differ from Clark and Kara. I'm interested to see where this goes.
