Everyone had their insufferable moments except for Camila, Simone, and Karen. Objectively they are the best characters in the entire book and no one can say otherwise.

In many ways, I'm not sure why I like this book so much. It was so intensely readable (I listened to it, which might be part of it) and I think I'll look back on the story in the future.

Maybe it's because I loved Evelyn Hugo so much, or maybe it's because booktok set me up to think the twist would be much more exciting than it actually was, but this one didn't do what I thought it was going to do. Honestly, probably my last TJR book.

I honestly don’t think I would have found a non-audiobook as engaging but the full cast and general format of the narrative was so cool to listen to

I mean, I thought it was alright. The beginning was so engaging and I was excited to keep reading but towards the end of the book the tension of this 'final day' kinda missed for me. It was like, I know where it's all gonna go, could we just get there already so that the book could be over?

Also I'd just read a short story of a rock and roll band that was famous and then abruptly split while on tour/performing at a show so maybe it also just wasn't the best time for me to be reading something of the similar genre.

I enjoyed this very much though the writing style did take a little while to get used to. But overall I did like this book a lot.

Wow. I can’t believe it took me this long to read this book, but better late than never. As a huge 70s rock n’ roll scene fan I couldn’t put it down. I loved the interview style and can easily say it’s one of the best books I have ever read hence the 5 stars. I’m a big fan of Riley Keough and Suki Waterhouse so I’m excited for the show. I will love this book until the end of time.

Crying score: I started crying for Daisy and I don’t know if I’ll ever stop.

Edit: Reread 3/21/2023
This 5 star will hold up til the end of time. It’s crazy how a second read can help you catch things you missed.
There will never be women greater than Daisy Jones and Camilla Dunne.
