I put off reading this one and continuing the series because of the stepbrother/stepsister thing. I don't know why but I thought it'd be cheesier but I was delightful to find that I was wrong. Altho it is very heavy on the trope at the beginning of the story, it develops in a delicious way that I didn't expect and surprised me.
I am gonna say that the way Garret acts sometimes is juvenile and especially at the 3rd act I just wanted to smack him. But, I agree with Mia that the man should be forgiven after... doing st like that in public. *wink*

I’m having a really hard time that step parents are just cuter chill and fine with their stepchildren being together…

I enjoyed this one less than the first one. I think I'm more intrigued by the stories coming than I was about this one. I guess voyeurism isn't high up on my list of kink and the whole cam girl feels a little tired at that point. That said, this has all the qualities of the first book so I can't quite not recommend this. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

The second book in the series is much better! BUT i only read it because i’ve already bought 2 books. There are a lot of others books in the series and in russian we have a third book translated, but it was cute and hot and it was easy to read. But the plot is useless and kinky😬 That’s why i gave it to my mom🤫

I liked this book, but I don't think the tropes were for me. I did enjoy seeing Garrett talk more openly about his depression, but I felt like some of this was a bit forced. Mia was made for Garrett, but it made me so mad that he hid the whole Drake watching her on camera situation.
Some random thoughts while reading this book ….
I’m all for step siblings but with 16 year age gap and him knowing her since she was 8, that’s your sister .. your mom is practically her mom cause she raised her. So that (to me) was kind of ick. I would have been fine if they had both been older when they met/became step siblings. Or even if both were younger when they met. But I think the combo of him being older and meeting her when she’s so young.
Moving on…. You’re telling me a cam girl is a virgin?!? Bullsh*t…. Bulllllsh*****t! But okay I’ll play along…
Last but not least …
The parents are not only okay with it but encouraging it?
How is no one thinking it’s weird?!?! No one? Everyone is super supportive? This isn’t one of my romantasy books is it?? It certainly feels like there’s is some magic at play here, it would help fill these loopholes.
