I'm conflicted on this story. For one, I think having this be a story that was discovered i their world is very cool. But also, the whole story of how they discovered it was kinda weird as I don't know what to make of this story in that context. Overall though, I very much liked the actual story.

I think I've found Lovecraft's recurring theme by now, if he's consistent about it in his all works. It's about space, other dimension, alternate universe and the likes. Also this particular story isn't that scary.
