Thoughts: This was an action packed story that picked up right where it left off. Jace and Kazi face a lot of adversity on their journey home where things have changed for the worst. We saw a lot of strategic moves by both as they attempted to regain what was theirs. Beautifully written. Fully emersive and engaging.
Summary: Kazi and Jase, stronger and more in love than ever, face a promising new life. The Ballengers are no longer outlaws, Tor's Watch will become a kingdom, and they are ready to tackle any challenges together. However, an ominous warning clouds their return. Soon, they are ensnared in a web of deceit spun by their greatest enemies and unexpected allies. Betrayals run deeper and more deadly than they imagined, and timeless ambitions threaten to destroy them both.

In my opinion, it was super slow in the beginning but it picked up pace after around 200-ish pages. Super engaging, and incredibly descriptive.
