When I read this in 2021 I gave it 3 stars, but I decided to listen to the audiobook because I realised I hadn't read the third book and wanted a refresher, and the audiobook is SO much fun that I'm upping this from 3 stars to 4.5. The narrators put a lot of personality into the characters.

FRAT WARS is the first book in the Frat Wars series.
Chad is the VP of the Sigma Beta Psi Fraternity. It's his senior year and he is just out to have fun and finish the year. Chad recently came to grips with himself finding both men and woman attractive. He's not out to his brothers but he's looking forward to exploring that side of himself. He's known as the Frat prankster and loves pulling pranks on Rho Kappa Tau, the rival frat.
Bailey's the new guy. He switched schools after his mom was sick with cancer and wanted to be closer. Bailey isn't interested in the ongoings of the fraternity he just wants to get through his work and graduate until he meets Chad during a party. He's just his type until he finds out he's a rival.
I loved how this played out. The banter between and the childishness of the pranks being pulled was perfect. FRAT WARS makes for a great fluffy low angst love story. It was definitely frat af!
I can't wait to see what's next in Master of Mayhem!

This was frat as fuck.
Shout out to Chad for having the douchiest name and personality in the first handful of chapters to becoming the softest boy for Bailey. Love to see it. That’s my bread and butter right there.
I really did love Chad and Bailey together. The teeny bit of rivalry in the beginning to the mutual pining to the secret escapades. I absolutely adored Bailey’s family. Them taking a picture with Chad to send to Bailey to tease him was everything to me. I don’t know, I just had so much fun with them during this book. There was a small amount of push and pull in the very beginning but otherwise this was a sweet, low-angst story with a few laughs in between.
Also, BABY MILES! He was only brought up maybe three times and barely said anything but I still giggled and kicked my feet to hear his name. If only I could remember which frat brother he called in Bromantic Puckboy to talk about his crush on Cody. It could’ve been Chad but they didn’t interact much in this book so maybe it’s someone from the next two books. I could go and check but I’m too lazy.
Anyways, I’m pumped to continue this series. It’s a nice little reprieve from hockey for a bit. Robbie and Brandon were adorable in this book and I’m pretty sure it’s their story next so I am pumped up.

Chad and Bailey are adorable but honestly that’s about it. I was even more invested in the frat house war than the romance.
Bailey and Chad get all the stars! I absolutely loved everything about this college romance. I laughed so much at the antics throughout this entire book. It was a feel-good, sweet, funny, and steamy romance. Every character in this book was exactly that, a character with big personalities and opinions on everything. Bailey's family was my favorite of the secondary characters and their openness with Bailey and Chad. I did see another book in this series will be coming out in 2022 and I'm so looking forward to it! I highly recommend this book.
