Chad and Bailey were great. I liked their relationship and the secretiveness in which it had to be for a while. I enjoyed the Lucas plot line. 2.5/5 spice levels.

While the end saved the circus, what a circus. I’m always down to pick up a book if it involves a fraternity (even a mm romance) but would it kill y’all to maybe talk to be a little realistic with how fraternity dudes talk? This was very much a fantasy about how they should act, talk, care about, and also the lives outside of the Greek chapter.
While the banter was borderline childlike, and I appreciated that unlike other books (looking at you Bowen/Kennedy) that both MCs were not from the same frat - which helped. While it’s not an ironclad rule, it’s kind of hard to ignore that you aren’t supposed to hook up with someone in your chapter - just a no no.
Also, no big/little, no families, etc. The book was more a pop culture, someone who hasn’t been in Greek life take on all of this.
As for plot…..being a Romeo and Juliet ESQUE story, there were some hints at the adaptation that made it funny and interesting, but the cheesy dialogue, and some parts that felt like borderline fetishizing of the relationship dynamics felt weird, and also, just a general lack of plot development.
All in all, if you’re into this, I can see where it would work. I just felt general ambivalence save for a few parts. Let’s do better folks.

Loved this great read! These two were sweet and funny. I enjoyed the flow of the story. This was a new author for me and would love to read more of her books!
